There's bodies moving, estranged bodies. Motifs. Concave convex bodies. Tormented and loving faces. Pushing from within. Pushing out. Seeping. Sweat, stretch. Strangled then flying, we watch the universe unfold through limbs and communication between limbs others and mine and yours. We ingest as the dancers ingest. Air, proxy. Curled, uncurled. Fish, birds and beings.  Taut. But not tautology. Unwind. Perhaps the touch of the natural universe or everything enmeshed.

Capoeira

I see two bodies in unison, working together. Not alternately but they are remembering, their bodies are remembering. This is a movement I've seen and practised. I know how it feels to be low down like that. It isn't as easy as it looks. A Brazilian dance-marshal art indeed. But where does the psyche go? Back in time? Into the muscles. I guess its different every time. Like everything else.
